Meet Dr. Schefler
Dr. Amy Schefler is a board-certified ocular oncologist and vitreoretinal surgeon. She has a special expertise in eye cancer, a rare subspecialty within ophthalmology. Since being recruited to Houston in 2012, Dr. Schefler has worked with her team of physician colleagues in radiation oncology, medical oncology, pediatric oncology, ophthalmic pathology, and basic science research to build one the busiest eye cancer centers in the nation.
Having authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Schefler is at the forefront of innovation in ocular oncology, improving outcomes for both life and sight. As a nationally and internationally recognized expert in eye cancer, Dr. Schefler is also involved in collaborative, single-center, prospective, interventional, and retrospective research studies in all areas of eye cancer. Patients who come to ECAT will have access to all of the latest clinical trials in eye cancer as well as the most up-to-date information on every condition.

Directions to Our Office
Coming from I-610, travel west on Woodway Drive. Turn left into the long driveway immediately before/to the left of the 5757 building. Follow the driveway straight back toward the parking garage.
Continue straight down the driveway to the parking garage with the large Sola Salons sign.
Make a right immediately after the Sola Salons sign to enter the garage and park. If parking above the first floor, take the elevator back down to Floor 1.
Follow the covered breezeway.
ECAT is on the first floor of the West building, Suite 101. Before entering the building, look for the front door to ECAT on your left.
If you would like to drop a patient off before parking, you can turn into the circular driveway on Woodway. You can only turn into this driveway when traveling East on Woodway Drive.
